| Abstract: | Working on the exercises in Selected Lectures on Geometrical Proof, we often encounter the problem of adding an auxiliary line. This paper summarizes the basic models of drawing an auxiliary line based on the classification of synthetic geometry. These models can cover the common basic methods for adding an auxiliary line and hopefully can facilitate students an effective way of learning geometrical proof. |
