| Abstract: | This paper observes the formation of seed-coat of Sapium sebiferum(L.)Roxb.The result indicates that the waxed cover of the seed results from the waxization of the outer seed-coat,and that the outer seed-coat consists of three layers of which the middle layer is very thick and rich in fat,and that the inner seed-coat is made up of two layers and cell wall of the outer layer thickens and lignifies which is called shell seed-coat. |
