| Abstract: | The paper briefly introduces the features of Chinese four-character phrases and the application of it to English-Chinese translation with some examples.Meanwhile,the advantages of four-character phrase translation will be discussed through comparing it with literal translation.In addition,the paper mentions that the four-character phrase translation can be well used in translating English advertisements into Chinese. |
