| 摘 要： | 乾嘉道时期天津作为首都门户的战略地位得到一定程度的重视。但由于复杂的历史原因,决策者往往强调陆防,而对海防重视不够。尤其是作为具有水上机动作战能力的水师严重薄弱,甚至几度裁撤,从而给虎视眈眈的英国殖民者以可乘之机,造成后来鸦片战争形势的急转直下,给中国历史带来了深刻的影响。从中英两国对天津海防的认识及措施入手,揭示其中的原因,反思历史教训,会对当今的海防提供一些历史启示。

| Abstract: | As the gateway of Beijing,the capital of Qing Dynasty,Tianjin had been paid attention to in some extent by the rulers in the Reigns of Qianlong,Jiaqing and Dao guang.Owing to the complicated historical causes,the policymakers usually laid stress on land defense,neglecting coast defense.The naval forces,which were flexible while fighting,were very weak,and were even disarmed several times.Thus Britain had an opportunity to invade Tianjin,which took a sudden turn in the First Opium War.This event had a great effect on Chinese history.This thesis analyses the differences about the ideas and measures between China and Britain,trying to reveal the reasons,reconsider the historic lessons and furnish some revelations to coast defense today. |
