| Abstract: | Emotion, as an important aspect of human experience, has always been a key research item in cognitive linguistics. Metaphor is regarded as a cognitive activity by modern metaphorical theories. This article focuses on a comparative study of the metaphors of the emotion of anxiety between Chinese and English from a cognitive point of view to help people better understand the essence of the metaphors of the emotion of anxiety. |
