| 摘 要： | 因汉字难认、难写、难记，长期以来一直是外国留学生特别是非汉字圈学生学习汉语的一大难题。其申汉字难是一方面的原因，但更重要的原因恐怕还是对汉字教学重视不够，汉字的教学方法有问题。因此，在综合权衡各学者研究的基础上，就对外汉语教学初级阶段对非汉字圈学生的汉字教学进行探讨，主要得出如下结论：实行语文分开；坚持字本位原则；以传统的字源学为主，也允许用所谓“俗文字学”帮助学习者记忆现代汉字。
