| Abstract: | The paper discusses the features of inquiry-based approach to oral English teaching,its five basic principles,five teaching procedures and five critical steps.It concludes that the new approach,which pursues the synchronous development of students’ oral English skills,learning strategies and innovative abilities,is a useful supplement to the traditional teaching mode. |
