| 摘 要： | 形式完整的英语句子根据形式构造的规则性可以分为“大句”和“小句”.以英语图片说明中逻辑性主谓结构小句和大句独立结构为例,比较了小句和大句中两种结构的相同和相异之处.造句时用词经济,主要信息突出,是两种结构产生的根据.小句逻辑性主谓结构和大句独立结构在内部构造,语义表达,修辞特点,形成机制等方面各有特点,也存在许多相似之处.

| Abstract: | Formally complete English sentences can be divided into major sentences and minor sentences according to their formal regularity. Minor sentence containing logical S-P construction and nominative absolute construction in major sentence each are, in inner construction, semantic expression, rhetoric, and realizing mechanism, characterized by their own features, of which a brief comparative study is made, with the former exemplified by caption minor sentence. Despite some minor difference, they share much common ground. |
