| 摘 要： | 许多学英文的人说最难的事就是记单词,尤其是他们有时会误解英文单词的含意.由于受不同的宗教、环境、风俗习惯和价值观等因素的影响,任何一种语言的文化涵义都不可能在另外一种语言里找到完全相等的对应词.一些汉字和英文单词好像指的是同一件事,但却是有不同的涵义.下面就列举了一些英文单词和短语,它们在汉语中的对应词有可能使人产生误解.

| Abstract: | Many English learners say the most difficult thing is to remember the words, especially they sometimes misunderstand themeanings of the words. It is impossible that a cultural connotation in one language has an exact equivalent in another language be-cause of the influences of such factors as various religions, surroundings, customs and perception of value. Some Chinese and Englishwords, although they seem to mean nearly the same thing, actually mean different things. The followings are some English words andphrases that may be mistaken for their equivalents in Chinese. |
