| Abstract: | Abstract A key to the success of intercultural projects is acquiring an understanding of the culture, the differences and the similarities. This article offers insights on how to prepare to work in a foreign country by talking and meeting with natives as well as your own countrymen and women who have been there, asking practical questions, and concentrating on learning about the structure and development of their language. It also emphasizes that, whether you are working with others on a project or independently, you must get as much orientation as possible.
