| Abstract: | The author looked back into the history of China's engaging the foreign soccer coachessince the founding of the People's Republic of China and reviewed the experience of introducingadvanced soccer theories and skills. The author also analyzed the present situation and suggested toimprove the engagement work by avoiding seeking short-term successes and taking a long-rangeview. |
