| Abstract: | Based on an field research on the translation of public signs in Ganzhou,the second largest city of Jiangxi province,this paper has categorized the errors found in the translations and has suggested corrections for them.Meanwhile,this paper has explored the reasons for poor quality of the translation of public signs from the perspective of translation ethics and proved that the guidance of ethics of the translator,the patronage and the government will guarantee good translations of public signs. |
