| 摘 要： | 英汉语数字的虚指意义实质上就是英汉语数字的修辞意义，而数字的夸张性修辞值得我们关注。本文主要从模糊语义学的理论角度出发，通过对比英汉语中数字夸张的各自表达方式，在探讨语用功能的同时试图挖掘隐藏在这些不同数字后的文化因素。

| Abstract: | This paper proposes the implicit meaning of English and Chinese numerals which are essentially rhetoric meaning. Hyperbole of numeral is the key part that this paper will discuss. Form the perspective of fuzzy semantics, the paper analyzes the hyperbole of nu- merals both in Chinese and English in a comparative way. Moreover, the respective culture factors will be dug out when pragmatic functions are talked about. |
