Abstract:As a qualitative evaluation method,teaching portfolio is beneficial for recording the process of teachers'individual development,promoting teachers'self-reflection.Thus it can achieve the purposes of demonstrating the ability of teachers and promoting the professional development of teachers.This paper attempts to introduce the basic concepts of teaching portfolio and its significance to teachers'professional development and provides a model of teacher evaluation for reference.
