| Abstract: | Architectural issues can be addressed from semiotic perspective, thus forming the architectural semiotics. The link between language and culture reveals Chinese language characteristics, thus forming Chinese cultural linguistics. This paper tries to employ views of linguistic semiotics to study the elements in the Chinese classical gardens, and the enlightenment for landscape design in modern residential areas. |
