| Abstract: | Constrained by the teaching syllabus,the class hours of interpretation course for English-major students are not sufficient enough for the training of qualified interpreters to meet the needs of society.One feasible way to solve the problem is to provide helpful environment and tools for students’ after-class study and develop their capacity of autonomous learning.This paper highlights the importance of autonomous learning through an overview of interpretation teaching theories and pedagogy,and discusses how a CAIL（Computer-Assisted Interpretation Learning） tool,Black Box,can be integrated into the autonomous learning to improve interpretation teaching. |
