| 摘 要： | 通过《复活》与《施洗的河》等的比较，可以看出两个作家对于苦难的理解的差异：老托尔斯泰描绘了19世纪俄国社会底层的灾难性生存景象。北村则以近乎极端的姿态，写出生活在意义匮乏时代的人们的存在图景。北村的写作使得文学和时代的对话成为精神现实。正是在这个意义上当代性不再是一个空洞。

A Comparative Study of The Resurrection and The River of Baptism |

| Abstract: | By comparing The Resurrection with The River of Baptism, we can discover the differences of the two writers in understanding hardship. While Tolstoy described the disastrous living conditions of the down-trodden class of Russia in the 19th century, Bei Cun depicted vividly the life of people in a drab and bleak age. Bei Cun's writings have rendered the dailogue between literature and the epoch into a spiritual reality, and it is in this sense that Chinese literature is imbued with its contemporaneity. |
