| Abstract: | In an integrable system, we study ultradiscrete equations and their soliton solutions, in which both dependent and independent variables take discrete values. An algorithm for verifying soliton solutions of ultradiscrete equations by max-plus algebra is presented. Using this method, we can verify the solutions of the ultradiscrete Lotka-Volterra equation. |
