| Abstract: | The material concerning the art of dance in Master Lu' s Spring and Autumn Annals is farfrom being comparable by other books in the Pre - Qin period. It introduced for the first time the theoryof history of the emergence and development of dance, and it also tried to reveal the laws in the develop-ment of dance. Therefore it is highly valuable in the documents of art and literature, and occupies a veryimportant position in the history of Chinese dance. |
