| Abstract: | October 31, 2013 saw the ancient rivertown Xitang launch a weeklong Hanfu fashionshow. Situated in northern Zhejiang,the river town typifies a lifestyle of themillennium-old Jiangnan. However, the waythe town people are dressed appears likean anachronism in the traditional look. TheHanfu Week was an effort to address the imperfectionand bring the ancient apparel backinto modern China. |
