| 摘 要： | 作为福克纳最著名的短片小说《,献给艾米丽的玫瑰》真实地描述了处于新旧时代交替特殊时期的南方贵族小姐艾米丽复杂矛盾的内心世界,扭曲变态的心理。该文试从文学文体学的角度,从词汇,句法,修辞手法和语境方面来分析艾米丽小姐无法避免的悲剧主题。

| Abstract: | As one of the best-known short stories of William Faulkner,A Rose for Emily vividly describes a Southern aristocratic lady—Emily’s plaintive and mysterious life experiences.Literary stylistics is in essence a linguistic approach to the study of literary texts,a subject trying to analyze the literary works in a linguistic approach.This paper mainly focuses on analyses of the stylistic features based on the theory supported by Leech and Short.This paper devotes to explore the short story "A Rose for Emily"from four aspects:lexical application,syntactical structure,figure of speech and context analyses to see how the author deepens the theme,and strengthen the characterization of the story. |
