| 摘 要： | 短篇小说《小二黑结婚》是中国乡土作家赵树理的成名之作,描写的是抗战时期农村民主政权建立不久,一对追求自由幸福的青年男女恋爱结婚的故事。该部作品最突出的特点就是山西地方特色鲜明、乡土气息浓厚,其中涉及了晋东南文化的许多方面,诸如嫁娶婚俗、宗教信仰、生产劳动等等,因而文化负载词的翻译对于这部小说的译介十分重要。根据著名翻译理论家尤金·奈达的文化分类理论,小说中出现的文化负载词主要与生态文化、社会文化、语言文化有关,结合纽马克的"语义翻译"与"交际翻译"理论,选取相关译例进行分析,以期对中国乡土文学中文化负载词的英译有所启发。

| Abstract: | The short novel Xiao Erhei Jiehun,written by Zhao Shuli,mainly talks about a couple of lovers who struggle for their freedom of marriage soon after the democratic regime has been established in rural areas.The novel is featured by distinct local flavour,involving various cultures of southeastern Shanxi.Therefore,how to translate culture-loaded words in an appropriate way is of great importance in the entire process of translation.In accordance with Nida’s theory concerning the categorization of cultures,the culture-loaded words in the novel are mainly related to ecological,social and linguistic cultures.Based on Newmark’s semantic and communicative translation theories,several relevant expressions and their translation are listed and analysed in order to make a reference for translating culture-loaded words in Chinese local-color literature in the future. |
