| Abstract: | Supervision system in ancient China had a long history and developed with its own characteristics:being under the direct leadership of the emperor, being given the right to exercise the imperial power to restrict the ministers and officials; the position of the supervision censor being low but his power being so great as to making inspection tours in the name of the ruler; participating in trials and having jurisdiction. |
