| 摘 要： | 西尔维亚o普拉斯是自白派中最年轻最有艺术才华又最早自杀的女诗人。她所创作的诗歌反映了她不凡的人生观,在她看来"死亡是一门艺术",从她的诗歌中我们可以看到她认为死亡即是永恒和再生。本文借她的一篇诗作《雪莉角》来分析她对死亡的看法,即,肉体的死亡并不可怕,因为精神可以长存,惟有精神才是永垂不朽的。

| Abstract: | Sylvia Plath is the most talented one.Her poetry,reflecting his unique view towards death,conveys the idea that death symbolizes both immortality and rebirth and that"death is an art".This paper presents her view about death by analyzing one of her poems,"Point Shirley",i.e.physical death is not fearful since spirit is perpetual and long-lasting. |
