| 摘 要： | 动物习语在英汉两种语言中的出现频率很高,英汉民族思维方式和文化背景不同,同一动物所承载的喻义也就会出现差异．本文通过对不同动物习语形象比较,阐述其在语域范畴、文化习俗、文化背景及在比喻和联想等方面存在的文化差异．

| Abstract: | There are a lot of animal idioms in both English and Chinese. Their modes of thinking and cultural backgrounds are different. In this article, the writer tries to explain the cultural differences of animal idioms in Chinese and English from register, cultural customs, cultural background and the aspects of metaphor and association through the comparison of the images of animals. |
