| Abstract: | Orhan Pamuk is the first Nobel Prize winner in Turkish literary history.My Name is Red is his most successful novel.It is remarkable for its unique narrative point of view,intricate plot and profound theme.This paper intends to testify how Pamuk reflected upon and explored the situation and change of Turkish cultural identity and how his vision of multicultural development and hybridity proves to be meaningful in the globalized context of ours. |
