| 摘 要： | 言语交际中人们出于某种意图常常会使用模糊性的语言，模糊语言的使尉不仅比准确的语言更具有表现力，而且能够取得较好的语用效果。模糊限制语，作为表达模糊语言的词语，可以使我们的语言表达得更加得体、机智、礼貌。从变动型模糊限制语与缓与型模糊限制语的角度举出例证，说明使用模糊限制语是运用礼貌原则、表达礼貌的有效手段。

| Abstract: | Vague language is often used in verbal communication by either speakers or hearers because of certain purpose. The use of vague language will be both expressive in communication and ideal in achieving desired pragmatic effect. Hedges,words that indicate vagueness,make our discourse tactful,intelligent and polite. From the point of adaptors and shields,hedges will be exemplified to be an effective approach in using politeness principle and expressing politeness. |
