| 摘 要： | Bernice McCarthy在吸收教育学、心理学、神经学及管理学等领域研究成果的基础上,于1972年创立了4MAT教学体系。该体系在西方许多国家被广泛认可和使用,历经数十年仍然受到教育者的厚爱,成为开发课程、保障教学质量的最有效的教学体系之一。其强调教学是一个探究问题、训练双脑以适应不同学习风格,以及有效开展教学评估的过程。文章在详细介绍该该体系后,结合英语教学实践对其进行示范说明,在文中展示了如何运用4MAT进行英语教学的实例。

| Abstract: | Based on the research from fields of education,psychology,neurology,and management,Bernice McCarthy developed the 4MAT system which has been widely accepted and implemented in many western countries since the year 1972.Through years of applica tion in education 4MAT has been enjoying high favor and remains one of the best systems to develop curriculum and guarantee successful teaching.Under 4MAT system,teaching and learning is carried out as a process of problem-solving,training on both hemispheres,and teaching assessment.This paper presents the theory and implications of McCarthy’s 4MAT system and its application in English language education.The practical teaching application of 4MAT system in English language education is presented in the paper. |
