| Abstract: | This paper lays great emphases on pragmatic analyses on hedges in Three Kingdoms translated by Moss Roberts,so as to enrich the study on the application of hedges. And from these analyses it discovers that hedges play an optimistic role in vivifying novel characters and in achieving communication aims. |
