| 摘 要： | This thesis analyses Death of a Salesman from the perspective of existentialism.By probing into the story with Sartre’s theory of freedom,this thesis concludes that the protagonist’s living environment and his choice are both responsible for his death.But it also tells us no matter how difficult our situation is,we always have freedom to choose.Everyone can live a mean ingful life through his choice.
