| Abstract: | In the book Authorized Version of Professional Rank English Test for National Technicians in Finance and Economics, there lie quite a few of mistranslations from English to Chinese due to the misunderstanding of some words, structures and contexts as well as the inexperience in translation skills. My analysis of these mistranslations may be helpful to readers' good and accurate understanding of the English originals. It indicates once more that translation is a serious job and its haste is bound to mislead readers. |
