| 摘 要： | 明代四大奇书《三国演义》、《水浒传》、《西游记》和《金瓶梅》都与历史献有关系，由于创作背景不同、取舍不同、处理方式各异，成就了各自的特质和奇观。历史献不等于历史真实。历史小说的伟大经典《三国演义》的极大成功在于它是“学”。而学也讲真，但主要是追求美。

| Abstract: | The Romance of the Three Kingdoms , All Men Are Brothers , Journey to the West, and Jin Pin Mei, the four spectacular books of the Ming Dynasty, are all related to historical documents. Owing to differences in terms of background of creation, selection, and way of disposal, each of the four has achieved traits and wonders of its own. Historical documents are no equivalent of historical truthfulness. The huge success of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms," a monumental classic of historical fictions, lies in the very fact that it is "literature," whose main pursuit is beauty, though it also cares about truthfulness. |
