| Abstract: | To explore and study the deep thought implied inThe Art of War by SUN ZI and its meaning to modern society, this essay involes itself with a complete study to SUN ZI's aesthetic thought with the conclusion that SUN ZI has a thorough understanding to the nature of aesthetics, to the perception of aesthetics, and to the beauty implied in form, though he has no specialistic work to discuss aesthetics. SUN ZI's The Art of War constitutes oriental military aesthetics by means of its brilliant achievements and its specific and characteristic system. |
