Abstract:The paper expounds the basic intension of geog ra phy teaching design on the basis of the teaching design and according to the new idea of new curriculum puts forward the principles of geography teaching design in the background of new curriculum, directing the geography teacher to underst and and grasp new curriculum more accurately in the course of teaching design. T hen, the teaching goal of new curriculum is fulfilled.
