| Abstract: | English language teaching in vocational higher education undertakes an important task in developing talents of the field. This paper explores the effective way of teaching and learning for audio-oral course in this field in the new century. The appliance of the newly-developed teaching and learning method of "working together" has changed teacher-centered teaching into student-centered method, improving the students' ability in language communication and also improving the relationship between teachers and students. |
