| 摘 要： | 谚语是熟语的一种，是语言的词汇单位。但它具有自身的特点，本文探讨英汉谚语的语义特点，从言语性、丰富性、知识性和民族性等方面对英汉谚语做了阐述。此外本文还对谚语的语法功能作了介绍。

| Abstract: | The proverb is one kind of idiom, the language Vocabulary unit. But it has own characteristics. This article has discussed the English and Chinese proverb＇s semantic characteristics, discussing the English and Chinese proverbs from the spoken language nature,rich, and national characteristic aspect and so on. In addition, this article also has made some introduction to the proverb＇s grammatical function. |
