| 摘 要： | 委婉语是一种语言现象。也是一种普遍的社会现象．是语言与社会相互作用的产物。对语言的研究不能脱离语言使用的环境。本文将委婉语置于其产生和使用的社会环境中。探讨委婉语这种语言变异现象与语言使用者的社会、民族、文化等背景及语言使用的交际语境的相互关系，从而揭示言语交际的本质。

| Abstract: | Language and language use are deeply rooted in human Society, and any adequate account of language cannot be separated from its social context. Euphemism, a kind of linguistic variation as well as a sociocuhural phenomenon, can be thoroughly examined in its sociocuhural and commumcational context to explore the interaction between linguistic variables and social variables and to reveal the nature of linguistic communication. |
