| Abstract: | English achievement tests, an important tool to assess the English level of students, have shown a series of problems in test construction as in well as scoring and the interpretation of test scores, and brought out some side effects to English teaching and learning. Based on the analysis of these problems, the article tries to discuss the feasibility of item bank construction of Integrated English Test and the requirements for and techniques of the construction. |
