| Abstract: | Principle A of Chomsky's Binding Condition and its revised theory can account for part of long-distance syntactic anaphoring of English and Chinese reflexives. Only a semantics- pragmatics- and discourse-based discussion can present a complete picture of long-distance nonsyntactic anaphoring of English and Chinese reflexives. |
