| 摘 要： | 法律英语语言能力是我国高级应用型法律专门人才应当具备的基本能力之一。然而，电大开放教育本科法学专业学员的法律英语语言能力却未尽人意，这与该专业法律英语课程的缺位有关，并在一定程度上阻碍了该专业培养目标的实现。本文在分析法律英语的主要特点后，重点论述了电大开放教育本科法学专业开设法律英语课程的必要性和可行性，并得出结论：开放教育本科法学专业应该开设法律英语课程。
