| Abstract: | The focus shift of college English from general English to English for special purpose poses a great challenge for college English teachers. To meet the challenge well, those English teachers from colleges or universities of science and technology should enhance their life-long learning awareness, improve their meta-cognitive ability and reconstruct their knowledge structure, so as to realize the transform from one-disciplinary into inter-disciplinary educational professionals. |
