| 摘 要： | 礼物的交换在明代封贡体系中所具有的作用是不言而喻的，对它的探讨为我们提供了观察这一体系的新视角。文章通过对明代封贡体系中明王朝与藩属国之间的礼物流动、交换的分析发现，这里的礼物同时兼具象征性(表达性)、工具性的意义；且这两种意义相对于封贡双方来说具有非对等性，这是由双方不同的策略与目标所决定的。从精神层面上讲．礼物交换过程体现着儒家文化精神和内涵。

| Abstract: | It is clear that the gift exchange played an important role in the gra nt and tribute system in the Ming Dynasty, so the research into the system suppl ies us with a new view with which we study. Therefore, by analyzing the gift exc hange between the Ming Dynasty and its vassal states,we can see that the gift u nder the system of grant and tribute implicates symbolic and instrumental meanin gs. To the parties of grant and tribute, the two meanings are not equal because they depend on different targets and strategies. Finally it is thought that gif t exchange mirrored the spirit and connotation of the Confucianism. |
