| 摘 要： | 从主语对语类的选择、主语与谓语动词的关系和主语脱落现象这三方面分析了英汉主语的异同。证明了在这三个方面他们的不同只是表面上的,而共性则是本质的。从而有力的支持了Chomsky的普遍语法理论。

| Abstract: | This paper discusses the similarities and differences in English subject and its Chinese counterpart from three aspects: the categories that the subject chooses, the positional relationship between the subject and predicate and the pro-drop parameter. And the paper claims that the differences between the two languages' subjects are superficial, but their similarities are essential. Accordingly, it supports Chomskys Universal Grammar theory. |
