| Abstract: | More and more importance is attached to English newspaper reading. But the readers usually pay more attention to their improvement of vocabulary, grammar, ere, but ignore the aecumulation of schemata. This paper reviews the background and problems in English newspaper reading and discusses the application of schema theory in English newspaper reading and proves that schema theory ean guide the readers in English newspaper reading. |
