高校英语专业语法课程教学之目标解析

摘    要:《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》(2000)对于英语语法课程的目的有所表述,但教师是否对其有准确的理解和深刻的把握却关乎语法课程与教学的有效实施与开展。本文尝试从语吉意识框架中的语法意识、新型语法规和交际能力系统中的语法能力等角度来阐释语法课程教学要明确的两个基本目标及其关系:“知”性目标——“英语语法意识培养”和“能”性目标——“英语语法能力形成”;前者是后者的必要基础。后者是前者的自然结果。

Abstract:The objectives of grammar course is briefly stated in the National Curriculum and Instruction Plan for English Majors (2000) , but whether or not the practical teachers have a deep-going understanding and get the precise meaning of the stated objectives has great impact on the effective and efficient implementation of the course. This paper is intended for some clarification of the two basic objectives as well as their interrelatedness in the course from the perspectives of grammar awareness in the framework of language awareness and grammatical competence in the new version of grammar and several communicative competence frameworks. It is held in this paper that the raising of grammatical awareness is the prerequisite of the gradual formation of grammatical competence and the latter is the natural outcome of the former.
