| 摘 要： | 颜色词是词汇系统里很有特色的部分,历史文化的积淀和变迁在颜色词上体现得十分生动。由于语言习惯、历史背景、传统风俗等方面的差异,各民族对同一颜色的理解各有不同。以汉日英语言中的白色为例,“白”的象征意义就受三个民族文化发展影响而不同。一般来说,在中国,白色是一种忌讳的颜色;在日本,人们认为白色拥有不可思议的力量及神性;在西方,白色象征高雅纯洁,是西方文化中的崇尚色。

| Abstract: | Color words are a unique component of vocabulary system,which is a vivid expression of historical and cultural accumulations and vicissitudes.Based on the differences of language habits,historical backgrounds and traditional customs,different nations has different understandings to the same color.This article takes the "white" color as an example,from the viewpoint of cultural comparison among China,Japan and the West,analyzing the influences to symbolic meanings of color words caused by three nations' cultural development respectively.Generally speaking,in China,it is an avoided color; in Japan,it is regarded as the symbol of amazing strength;in the west,it represents elegance and pureness. |
