英语阅读中培养学习者隐喻能力的探讨

摘    要:语言的本质是隐喻的,隐喻不仅是修辞手段,更是思维模式。因此,学习者隐喻能力的培养尤为必要。文章探讨在英语阅读中如何培养学习者的隐喻能力,并提出一些具体的设想:利用隐喻认知规律,开拓创新思维;阅读中注意常规隐喻的积累;发挥形象思维,形成外语隐喻机制。

Abstract:Metaphor is a very important manifestation of a language.It is a mode of thought,not just a matter of language as a figure of speech.Therefore metaphorical competence should be focused in academic English learning.This article makes an inquiry into the possibility in training of metaphorical competence in English learner,and proposes some suggestions.
