| 摘 要： | 语法是语言教学的重要环节，也是高职学生外语学习的薄弱环节。PRETCO语法测试对教学起着正反两方面的反拨作用，它参照测试理论，符合大纲对语法能力的要求，合理管理测试结果，总体上给语法教学带来了积极的反拨作用，但也存在题型选择单一的问题。为此，语法测试可加大口语语法考查力度，增加主观性试题的考核，并使英语应用能力衡量标准多样化。

| Abstract: | Grammar is not only one of the important parts in the foreign language teaching and learning, but also a weakness for higher vocational college students. In order to efficiently improve the practical ability of the language , the grammar should be strengthened. The language testing has both positive and negative washback on teaching or learning. The grammar testing in the PRETCO can obey the testing theories, accord with requirements of the outline, and reasonably administrate the testing results. In general, grammar testing has positive effects on teaching and learning. However, some problems such as single testing genre exist. Hence, the proportion of oral grammar testing and subjective questions can be increased in the PRETCO. Also, the criteria of practical English ability can be diversified. |
