| 摘 要： | 本文从省略着手,着重分析了语篇中英语和汉语动词性省略的异同:英汉两种语言中都有实义动词省略和操作词省略,但英语的实义动词省略比汉语多;汉语的动词性省略多出现在对话中,并论述了比较英汉语篇中动词性省略的异同在教学中和翻译中的作用。

| Abstract: | By comparison of verbal ellipsis in Chinese and English,the paper analyses the feature of verbal ellipsis in discourse.Though there are lexical verb ellipsis and operator ellipsis in both languages,lexical verb ellipsis appears more frequently in English than in Chinese and verbal ellipsis is often used in dialogue in Chinese.The paper also states that the comparison of verbal ellipsis in these two languages is helpful in language teaching and translation. |
