| Abstract: | In this paper, based on the Changan No.1 shield machine in the shield construction of the No.1 subway in Xi’an, the principles and composition of the construction waste improvement system of the earth pressure balance shield machine （EPBM） and its common faults are analyzed. At last, the reasons of these faults are illustrated and some solutions are offered. |
